Licensing means that you sign a contract to work with a company and as you license your artwork to them, you get a percentage of sales returned to you. You can think of it like someone ‘renting your artwork’.

Contracts are typically industry specific, which means that if you license your artwork on wallpaper, you’ll be able to take that same artwork and license in as many other industries that you want.
