hello, lovelies! though i’ve shared my latest fabric collection reminisce with you before, today i want to highlight one of my favorite projects from the collection: the sentimentalities quilt. my mom, maxine ramey and i worked together to design it and she pieced and quilted it for me.

it’s also a free downloadable pattern! you can download the pdf pattern right here from art gallery fabrics. the dresdon plate in the middle is easier than it looks (i promise!) and you’ll have the quilt top together in no time.
above are the fabric requirements for the quilt and coordinating sku numbers. if you’re interested in grabbing some of the fabric, you can either check your local fabric store for availability or purchase it online from hawthorne threads.the sentimentalities quilt finishes out to be 66″ x 66″. it’s the perfect size to throw on a bed or curl up under on the couch!

Sure enjoyed today’s Tuesday Technique with your yummy fabric! I am so happy for you!
Blessings!
Thank you for this pattern!! I adore your fabric collection-it is so soft and summery!!!
Hi, I was reading through the instructions and I notice that the instructions for the plate center doesn’t use the same fabric selection for the center. Please correct me if I am wrong. I would like to make the center as shown in the pictures and not as it is shown in the instructions picture. Thank you.
hey barbara! you’re correct- we made two quilts and ended up appliqueing a small dresden plate to the center of the one photographed. sorry for the confusion! you can make the quilt according to the instructions and then applique a dresden plate to the center once the top is finished. we used a dresden plate ruler and chose a size that would fit within the circle. i hope that helps!
I am sorry, but I can not seem to get the pattern to come up so I can download or print it.
hi vicki! try this: http://www.liveartgalleryfabrics.com/freePatterns/pdfs/Sentimentalities_WEB.pdf :)
Love this quilt. Thank you for the pattern. I have fallen completely in love with the Dresden.
Thank you! I can’t wait to make this.
In the block construction……. you say ‘press towards fabric ‘A’. There is an “A” both in front of the B and after the G. Which direction do you wish the seams pressed? I love this quilt. Well done!!
hi kathyde! you can press them either way, but it’s important to be consistent on all the strip sets. :)
I love this pattern. I am working on this quilt. I’ll send you a picture when done.
