apple cider floats + homemade vegan caramel sauce (4)this apple cider float is truly the most amazing autumn treat. at first, i thought 'i don't think i'm much of a float girl', but boy was i wrong. this dessert drink is fall at it' best. spiced to perfection, it warms you up from the inside out!

ingredients:

- spiced apple cider (try my favorite mulling spices)
- dairy free ice cream (like so delicious or coconut bliss)
- dairy free whipped topping (like soyatoo's soy whip)
- a sprinkle of nutmeg
- cinnamon stick
- vegan caramel sauce (see recipe below)

once you have your ingredients together, simply serve the hot cider in a mug or glass. top with a scoop of ice cream, whipped topping, homemade caramel sauce and a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon. serve with a cinnamon stick on the side and enjoy!

  • Wow, that looks heavenly delicious and I am tempted to lick my computer sceen ;). Drinks like this make my favorite season of the year even better. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • I love your blog please don’t get me wrong with ths comment. I really do love to read your blog. But you often talk about eating vegan but utilize honey in this recipe. I myself am vegan and have to say that a recipe with honey can’t really qualify as vegan. Maple syrup might be a good sub for those who wish to make it vegan. I think I’ll try that. Thanks

    • hey rachael! you’re right, thank you so much for commenting! though we do still eat honey, i know that many vegans do not and i totally respect that. i’ve updated the recipe to include agave and maple syrup as alternatives- both of which work great. thanks again! xo
