i recently fell in love with this minty fresh smartphone dock, which i like to call my base vase. i purchased one for my mom a while back and knew i needed one as well the moment i set eyes on it! i got mine from uncommon goods and love that they're handmade in pittsburgh by myles and heather geyman. though advertised for a bedside table, i use mine at my work station during the day. it allows me to quickly and easily see incoming messages, emails and calls and i absolutely love how it brightens up my space!
speaking of, are you familiar with uncommon goods? i've always loved their funky site and products, but they're also an outstanding b corp biz that works hard to support non-profits like american forests, women for women international and reach out & read. plus, they support artists and handmade goods made locally in the USA! i especially love to browse their site for unique housewarming gifts, desk accessories (like this one!) and home decor.
if you've been around here long, you know that i try to keep fresh flowers at my work station year round. they brighten up my space and make it feel so fresh and inspiring! the mint color on this glazed stoneware works perfectly with my space, as well. the dock even has an opening located at the front of the dock to thread your phone's charging cord in. yes!
