hey everyone! the blog tour for my current fabric collection, Forest Floor for art gallery fabrics began last week and today is MY day to join the fun! i’m excited to share with you the quilt that i designed for the collection called forager. i love how the simple hourglass shapes come together. I also added a curved-edge binding to give it an extra sweet and snugly touch. The pattern makes perfect crib sized quilt, or you can easily expand on it to create a larger quilt!
best news of all – it’s a free quilt pattern! you can download the instructions for the forager quilt here. if you make it, be sure to use the collection’s hashtag #ForestFloorFabrics when sharing on social media so we can all see your beautiful work!
about the collection:
since we moved back to the mountains a few years ago, i’ve been endlessly inspired by the forest at my doorstep. this collection is deeply meaningful to me, as every bit of it was inspired by our woodland explorations. i spent months photographing the flora and fauna of our part of the world. the end result is a true reflection of where we live, pisgah forest, north carolina.
i hope that it will ignite the exploration of forest curiosities, and inspire you to visit the wondrous depths of the mountains as well!
