The Forest Floor Fabric Lookbook & a Giveaway!

Forest Floor Fabric Lookbook (2)

oh, happy day! art gallery fabrics released forest floor's fabric lookbook last week, and i’ve been oohing and ahhing over its pages ever since!

as always, the best way to view the collection is by hopping right in to the lookbook. you can also check out this post for more about my inspirations, a few of my favorite prints and for more info on where to purchase the collection.

photographing this lookbook was so much fun. a dear friend of mine and talented photographer, callie lynch, and i took off to a favorite forest near my home and photographed projects under the trees. it's a day i'll never forget!

the lookbook is chock full of patterns, tutorials and diy ideas. i hope you enjoy browsing the pages and making a project of your own!

psst: keep scrolling for info on a giveaway!

  • Oh Bonnie, just LOVE the little baby dress using Kwik Sew pattern 3689. I hop you’ll share with us the smocking instructions? That little touch makes the pattern so much cuter! I used to smock way back, “in the day”, but have forgotten all my smocking skills! Just so darling! Pattern and fabric are on their way, for both the dress and leggings, for my brand new granddaughter!

  • Beautiful fabrics and great pictures! Especially your baby girl in the adorable clothes. My granddaughter is a bit older than she is, so I’d probably make a dress for her, maybe an Emily dress.

  • I would make an Alder shirtdress, have just finished my first one and am planning the version with the ruffle at the back next . X

  • Bonnie – This is another beautiful fabric line. I am loving the two clutches (twisted and knot just another clutch)- and that would be where I would start.

  • I have two nieces that are only a year apart and they like to dress in matching outfits. I would love to make them the girl’s wrap dress, or any of the girl’s dresses in the look book!

  • I love all of the fabrics, and would love to make the Alder Shirtdress! My mom also is very into sewing, I will have to share with her! :)

  • Such pretty fabrics! It just makes me smile! I would make the sweet baby dress on p. 42 for a friend who is expecting a new grand-daughter in April. I love making sweet baby clothes.

  • I love the Mini Forest Quilt — mind you, there are a lot of really cute projects in there that would be great to make! What a lovely selection! The fabric is just delicious!
