I feel like I’ve been waiting to share this content with you all year. The video challenge is finally here!
Creating value through videos can be an amazing asset for your business. People love to see you in action! The problem is that it can feel daunting or overwhelming to sink your teeth into setting up for a video, editing it and uploading it to the web.
But, have no fear!
This month, we’ll tackle all of it using simple methods that will be easy to tackle.
Setting up for a video with either a DSLR or an iPhone. We won’t make this overly technical, simplicity is key!
How to import a video and edit it using iMovie, a standard application on every Mac. It’s free and I’ll show you how easy it is to use!
How to export the video and use it on your website or social.
Finally, WHY content through video is so important!
Your homework this week: is to simply make a plan for what you’d like to record and share. If you’re new to videoing, keep it simple. It could be anything that you think your audience will be interested in!
Ideas for video content:
- Bio introduction
- Project tutorial
- Behind the scenes look at your process
- Artwork creation in fast motion
- Product overview
This Month’s Challenge: Create a short video (less than 5 minutes) to share with your audience. If Instagram is your end goal, you’ll need to keep it under 60 seconds. When you’re ready, share it with YOUR audience, then let us know where we can view it by sharing a link with us in the Roost Tribe Facebook Group. If you’d like to, use the hashtag #RoostTribe on Instragram so we can find yours easily!
Due Date: October 31st, 2017
