Before I started Immersion, I had never opened Adobe Illustrator and never heard of surface pattern design. I imagined that it would be too difficult to learn and I relied on drawing on paper instead. I came across Bonnie’s course and it seemed like the exact thing I’d been wanting to learn and do! 

I was worried I wouldn't be able to follow through with the course due to the time difference in Singapore and my full-time job in marketing. I also worried whether what I created was going to be good enough.

But I decided to take the plunge because if I didn't do something about it then, I never would. I have loved every bit of Immersion!

Since immersion, I made friends from my peer group with whom I still meet up every month for accountability. I'm also learning to have the courage to do things I never dared to do and I'm breaking things down into small manageable tasks.  

If you want to learn surface pattern design and Adobe Illustrator, this is the only course you need!

You’ll learn everything you need and there’s a wonderful community to learn from and keep you going. It was the best present I ever gave to myself.
