I loved learning Illustrator for pattern design, which was a new application for me. I loved broadening my creative reach and vision. I very much appreciated the tools to help me focus and grow my business. The mindset support and holistic approach to a creative business. Most of all, I love the community – I now have a group of peers that I still meet with a few times a month to support, critique, and encourage each other! 

I think if I had known surface pattern design was something you could go to school for, I probably would have!

I am incredibly passionate about art have found that pattern design combines that love with the thrill of putting together a puzzle.

Since taking the course I have been working to grow my collection of patterns and am building my portfolio to pitch to prospective licensors.

I love that pattern design offers me another avenue to monetize my artwork and sketches. 

I am so grateful that the Immersion program not only taught me the technical skills of creating vector-based designs and building repeats but also helped me shift my mindset to one of the abundant possibilities for how I could use my art.

The best thing that came out of Immersion for me, was the peer group. Our group has continued to meet, troubleshoot together, cheer each other on, and celebrate our successes. I’m grateful for this course and the friends I have met along the journey!
