Immersion is a resource I use every week. I go back all the time a re-watch and re-practice. It makes you realize you are not alone. If someone is on the fence I would tell them that’s it’s worth every penny even if you have to save for it.
Before finding Immersion, I was a new mom and caregiver to four aging parents. I escaped to Barnes & Noble one day to just have 30 minutes to myself and I saw the magazine, Where Women Create. There was an article about an artist who discovered Surface Pattern Design and I could finally put a name to the big question I had for years: Where is all this art on pretty things coming from? I could do that!
When I found Bonnie, I loved how she taught. The biggest change from taking Immersion is my confidence and learning to just keep going. To realize patience with myself and that there is room for everyone.
Besides Bonnie’s teaching, the peer groups are what I cherish. I’m thinking in terms of collections now and trying to be mindful of what I create.
My goal this year is to finish the entire course with the class and get a licensing deal. I like the Spoonflower presentation and I opened up my shop!! Thank you Bonnie!
I have learned the most and felt the most support from Flourish and Immersion! I can always go and find an answer to any question.
