What did you love most about the Immersion Course?

What I loved most about Immersion was the how every subject was broken down into easily digestible parts. I have a bachelors in graphic design and have been designing for over a decade, and I still learned things I didn’t know I didn’t know. I love that I will always have access to the course so I could go at my own pace.

What made you decide to enroll?

When I left my job as a graphic designer at the beginning of covid, I started creating art just for myself again and it was a total wake up call. I knew I needed to find a career that allowed me to make the kind of art I enjoy making on my own time and, most importantly, in my own home. I knew nothing about surface pattern design or Bonnie. As soon as I heard one of Bonnie’s instagram videos about the surface pattern design industry and her Immersion course, I was in. It was like a sign from the universe!

I never thought I would find work that truly does not feel like work at all. It’s just fun and challenging and interesting.

Since taking the course I have two complete collections in two color ways that I couldn’t be more proud of. I have also launched a portfolio website. I am still working on my portfolio, but I intend on pitching to clients within the next few months.
