Today, my business is expanding into one that supports makers on many levels, and I couldn’t be more excited. I never would have dreamed building a creative career was even possible without Bonnie’s encouragement.

If you’re on the fence, I’d say take the plunge! I’ve made my investment back several times over both in dollars and the confidence to keep going, dreaming, and building. It takes work, but it’s worth it.

I started my creative journey as a sewing and fashion design teacher in a high school. Spending my time around fabric and encouraging young makers was an incredible experience. After I married and moved to California, I found myself in a different career and looking for a way to connect to that creative space again. I found Bonnie through Skillshare and dove headfirst into the world of surface pattern design. Bonnie showed me a new way to express myself creatively within that realm of fabric and sewing I loved so much.

Actually licensing my artwork for fabric wasn’t even something I thought you could do until I met Bonnie. I committed and joined Immersion in 2019, and by the end of the year, I saw my first fabric collection released to the world with Hawthorne Supply Co. Bonnie’s coaching and openness about the industry was invaluable. I absolutely would not be here without her course and support.

The amazing thing is that Bonnie doesn’t leave you at the end of Immersion. There’s Flourish! You can grow your business at your own pace, and Bonnie is there for you every step of the way.
