Before doing the Immersion Course, I had been trying to self teach myself surface design from Skillshare videos. This was when I discovered Bonnie. I knew this one something I wanted to invest in.
Shortly after completing the course I gave birth to my second child. This time around I had decided to make a switch to cloth nappies and this when I had the perfect brainwave to combine my new knowledge of surface design to create my own product/brand … And this is where my new brand, Nipper Nappies was born!
A reusable nappy brand all designed by me. Without Immersion, this would not have been possible, the belief and knowledge just wouldn’t have been there.
I had always dreamt of one day seeing my designs on products but to see this dream become a reality is amazing.
We are due to launch exactly one year after I took Immersion. Thank you Bonnie for introducing me to surface design and now allowing me to see my designs in the world. This course allowed me to see potential in what can be achieved.
