I was initially attracted to Bonnie's vibrant personality on social media and signed up for Immersion to learn Illustrator after several failed attempts. I use illustrator with my clients in my role as an Interior Designer. I love the format of the modules and the specific, actionable steps.

While I learned Illustrator, I was blown away by the business and marketing skills Bonnie (and guest speakers) imparted. 

Prior to joining the Immersion course, I was an adjunct professor at the local university and looking for ways to supplement my income. I thought learning Illustrator would be an excellent way to pair my design skills into tangible income earning potential. Immersion was a big financial commitment as my family was hit hard by the pandemic but several family members came together to help pay the course fee so I could enroll and I am so grateful.

Immersion set me up for success in a way I could have never imagined. While I learned Illustrator, I was blown away by the business and marketing skills Bonnie (and guest speakers) imparted.

I had never sold my art before and I am 45 years old! It was an amazing feeling.  I began making art regularly again and even sold more than 200 prints in 2021.

My elementary school-aged children continue to be so proud and that feels really special too.

But the biggest surprise was leveraging my newly acquired Illustrator, business, and marketing skills to land a role as an Interior Design Manager in a local firm last summer.

This position skyrocketed my income and relieved financial pressure from my family. I don’t think I would have been able to land this position without Immersion.

I am now designing all sorts of custom imagery for clients to be printed as art, wallcovering, and upholstery in addition to supervising my team. The course gave me insight into online module learning that I have applied with the designers I manage. While my post Immersion career trajectory is likely very different than others, I believe the boost of confidence from the community with Immersion is priceless. 

I have never participated in such a loving, compassionate, insightful group of creatives in my life. In summary, this course gave me skills in every aspect of my career and I think Immersion is worth every penny. 

Side note, my son started watching the modules with me and at 10 years old was hooked!
