What made you decide to enroll in the Immersion Course?

I started as a textile designer years ago after college. When the industry left the South East and I was laid off I change direction of my career. When I moved back to my home town I found a job in textile manufacturing as a Product Manger. It was the closest job I could find to a design job in the industry. I am an artist and I wanted to get back into surface pattern design.

After some research I found out about POD sites and thought I can do that! I was excited and started my journey with a lot of research into digital printing and classes. Slowing I started learning Photoshop and Illustrator. Joined a textile designer community. When I felt I had learned all I could I started looking for something different. I wanted to learn more about the business side and I found the Immersion Course.

I just knew this was what I needed and wanted.

What changed for me after taking Immersion was my mindset. I am going in the right direction for my career and that it will take a little time. Each day I am getting closer to my goals.

What did you love most about Immersion?

The best part of Immersion is the community and the friends I have made.

The list of wins is long for me. I had no idea of how to crack the nut of getting noticed in the industry. Now I do and I feel I have better understanding of my brand and goals. I have direction!
