selling the handmade way has been developed for beginner and intermediate sellers who wish to learn more about improving their business, finding their niche and making a name for themselves in the handmade market.  jam packed full of information it includes lessons, tips, homework assignments and the opportunity for feedback. we'll take a hands on approach to improving your indie biz and constantly work to replenish your inspiration.  lessons will be taught primarily by me with a few expert guest posters along the way!  the e-course will be held on a private (password protected) blog with a forum specifically designed for enabling conversation and relationship growth.  you'll be met by other bustling business owners just like yourself and will be uplifted and supported as you experience the journey of selling the handmade way together.

duration and dates:
7 weeks
september 6th - october 22nd, 2010
for the duration of the course (and 3 weeks after), you will have unlimited access to our private e-course blog and forum.

requirements:
- a shop or venue where you are currently selling online (or plan to sell from)
- basic knowledge of computers and the platform you are using (etsy, artfire, personal website, etc).
- a camera

general schedule:

lessons will be posted on monday, wednesday and friday of each week with an occasional podcast from me and guest post from a handmade expert.  homework assignments will be given at the beginning of each week and will be due by the following friday (these are low pressure assignments that won't be graded!).  all students will have unlimited access to the blog and forum 7 days a week and for 3 weeks after the e-course has concluded.
